The Juniper Special

We currently offer two kayak models. One is 13' long and made for the smaller paddler of under 160 lbs due to the built in seat and opening size. It has moderate/high rocker (the bottom is shaped like a moderately bent bananna) for great handeling in tight spaces such as in the Juniper Springs run in Central Florida. This boat is hand laid fiberglass with each end filled with closed cell foam so it is unsinkable. It is a much nicer boat than those plastic bottle things they sell at all of the big box stores. This boat is not for crossing large open areas because of the rocker (A rudder would help the tracking if you wanted to use it to cross large lakes etc...).

The Thinwater Kayak

This kayak has an extra large opening as big as the cockpit on most sit on top kayaks but it is a sit inside type. This allows a lower center of gravity for a much more stable boat. At 12' long and right around 50 lbs this unsinkable design can be put on the top of most cars by one man. The boat is wide for it's length making it very stable. The flat fiberglass bottom is faster than the plastic boats of the same length. This boat tracks true and needs no rudder.

This is THE kayak for fishing. It has fairly low sides for minimal wind cocking and the large cockpit allows you to keep your bait bucket and tackle box within reach.  

Pirogue

I am working on the molds for a 13.5 Perogue type open kayak. It will be a great hunting and fishing boat in the no motor zones "NMZ".
